ok realistically...
how easy an install would a chin spolier and srt honeycomb grille be?
I'm pretty handy at taking things apart and putting them back together but I lack patience, which is why i havent ordered a halo kit... plus has the price on those pre-assemled stock halos gone down yet? and how much to send in my own stock set and get them halo'd? so many questions lol... |

I dont have the chin spoiler but I know it is simply lining it up drilling some holes and its on. The grille it simple too. You take all the clips off the top of your facia (just pop out) and pull it back a little and change it. Some minor cutting and tweeking might be needed because all the grilles clips dont line up all the time. For AAC to install the halos in your lights it is $140. You can call and talk to one of them if you want too 800-407-5776. Either ask for Justin or Tiffany (Justins wife) and they will tell you everything. Hope this helps...

Glad to see you back CHIse07 ---- the grill clips are reusable. The chin spoiler isn't tough either, like krewkut said just a matter of lining it up and drilling some (scary) holes in your fascia. It is much easier if you have two people but I did it singlehanded.

For the SRT type grill, get one from Dennis (NC-SXT) he makes them and he also has grills for the lower openings. He also sells the R/T emblems, See mine.
The Chin Spoiler is also easy to do, having an extra set of hands does help. That's my son doing my install. Bob ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by FloridaRT; 01-27-2008 at 08:34 AM.. Reason: spell |

I installed a Charger front spoiler. All I did was used small strips of that famous stuff (Duct Tape) to hold it in place so I could stand back to make sure it is lining up correctly and then starting in the middle I drilled the holes and worked toward the ends. It worked great and because the the spoiler is not painted I didn't have to worry about the tape pulling off the fresh paint. Good luck with all your mods.

i think there is a thread rolling around for install pics on a chin spoiler... (almost bolt on with a few tweaks). And the grilles are cake, maybe an hour job for a newb (like myself).

The blue ones are nice, just remember they are illegal to drive with on public streets!
