How Do I Remove Foglights To Install Halos?

Is there any easy way to remove the foglights, so I can install my Halos???

Foglights can be removed from the bottom after you remove the plastic shields, both of them, the big one for when doing the oil change and the small on under the radiator.
To install the Halos, which I almost went for, you'll need to cut the fog light lens at the base, put the halo ring and run the wires and re-glue the lens back on, it's tidious work but that's the only way.

I know about installing the halos, just wondered if there was some "magic trick" to get the fog lights out.....

Once I had my headlights out I was able to reach down and remove the fogs.....

Hey FloridaRT,

I always follow this guide when changing bulbs or getting at my fog lights.

HID Low Beam and Fog Light Install

Hope it helps out and take pics so we can see your halos.

Perhaps even make your own guide for us!

Hope this helps, let me know if you need more info.

REMOVAL



  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Open hood and remove the upper radiator closeout panel (2 and 4).
  3. Remove the six upper fascia retaining fasteners (Refer to 13 - FRAME & BUMPERS/BUMPERS/FRONT FASCIA - REMOVAL).

  4. Remove the headlamp unit (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - REMOVAL).

  5. From behind the bumper fascia, disconnect the harness connector.
  6. Remove two fog lamp unit mounting fasteners.
  7. Remove fog lamp unit (1).
