Hi to all. I have a question. I purchased some Dodge Magnum LED halo projector headlights. They came missing the instructions and don't know where to get them. I'm certain that I can install OK...but it would be faster to know the wire colors for which circit and maybe those little secrets to the removal. I think I can, I, wait...maybe I'll click my heeels together and, well.
I have the front bumper off for other work and thought to me, wow this looks like a good time to put in new headlights. Thanks for all help. John The Pest from the West |

Just need to connect the led and halo wires together and tap them in the marker lights wires.
2 pos wires (led's and halos) together to the pos of the makers and the 2 neg to the 2 neg of the markers. The markers wires are on a plug/connector (lack of a better name) that has 3 wires (one set on each side), you'll need to trace back from the headlights side markers and you'll find it, tap the led's and halo wires before the plug (before the headlights), you'll need a 12 volt tester, looks like a pointed screwdriver with the ground wire and a bulb in the handle, so you'll know which wire does what, like I said, 3 wires, one neg, one pos for the side marker and one pos for the blinker, don't mess up and connect it to the blinker or you halos and led strip will blink, unless that's what you want, or you can do a combo, halos on when marker lights on and led strip to flash along with he turn signal. I got rid of the led strip, they were bad, always flickering on and off, cheap E-bay stuff, but I was not planning on using them, because I was planning on the painted eyebrows with VHT. BTW: if you need a replacement LED, it's 194 blue, can find it at Pepboys. |

Hi. Thanks for all the information, that will help a lot. Most especially the 12v tester, I thought that that was some sort of elect. ice pick, couldn't figure out the light. I have a couple of test lights.
Other question I have is in regards to the removal, installation & aiming headlamps (if necessary). My many thanks to all that have responded thus far. John The Pest from the West Last edited by John Mayfield; 03-25-2008 at 03:22 PM.. Reason: To shorten message |
