Alright i think i am going to remove the side molding this weekend but seeing all the posts on the bubbles i am kinda nervous!! What do you think the odds of mine bubbling are? Mine is an 06
I dont think i have heard one case of this in California just my observation what you can do is put masking tape under the molding then pull it off if you see the bubbles you have a nice guide line to reinstall them
It took me two months to get the nerve to pull mine off and im glad i did its so cleaner with out the moulding mine is an 05 and the paint did not fade at all !!...
I thought about it but round these parts... it seems like an invite for door dingers.
Naw...seriously... just take your time and use some patience... and all the advise at your disposal... you can miss...even if you get a bubble... you can alwasy reattach
I have an 05 that sat in the sun in South Carolina for 2 years before I bought it. Stripped her of all her garters and no bubbles or blemishes...she is smooth!

Reason: Because Bubles is spelled with 2 B's...B.u.b.b.l.e.s...bubbles
