Started My Halo Install Today / Finally
I got off my butt today and decided to start my Halo install, just couldn't put it off any longer... LOL, I was holding back , watching and learning from the others who did their Halo install. As you may recall, I did my Fog Halo install and that went pretty easy - but I was nervous about doing the headlight Halos.
Well I am here to tell you that it went smoothly, so far. Only took about 20 minutes on each headlight to get them apart. I used 230 degrees for 20 minutes, per the instructions. We got them partially open and had to pop them back in the oven for another 5-6 minutes, then they just popped open.
Hint: when they are partially open, I stuck a clothes pin in to help hold them partially open, while they were in the oven for a reheat.
Am doing the actual Halo install now, drilling holes, using the epoxy, etc.
I should be able to have both headlights done by tonight and ready to install tomorrow. While I am at it, I may pull off the whole front facia so I can then start the install of my new Danko Grille..............
Took some photos for you, enjoy.
Bottom line, go for it - it's easy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taking a break from the action right now, one headlight is completely done and the second one is almost done. Halo's on the second light are in, waiting for the epoxy to set up. Just have to clean up the lense a little and silicone the second light back together. I am amazed at how well it is going......
The wife's kitchen is a mess right now, I will have to take her out to dinner tonight for sure............ Glad she puts up with me.
Starting to get tired, hell to get old............
Will test out the halo's and take some more photos.
Later,
Bob

Damn this makes me wish i never broke one of my halo's now.
Man does not inherit the land from their ancestors they borrow it from their children.

DARN! DRAT!
I spoke too soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I broke the big halo on the last headlight..................
While trying to reassemble the last headlight, my big dumb thumb pressed against the large halo and it SNAPPED!
A quick call to AAC and I will have a new halo by tomorrow..........
Time for a cold one , or two...............
