I have a dude in our club that needs to have his side skirt pulled off and reseated.
Anyone ever pull these off before? |

Just tell him to do what I did a couple months ago...
Drive over a curb in the dark, dropping the skirt hard onto the curb when exiting...will knock out all the clips and plastic rivets. No manual labor involved and comes off easily. The clips are $3+ per and the Plastic Rivets are $4 or so each...Need a special rivet gun for the plastic rivets. I could not find one and went for cheaper rivets from Advance Auto (or AutoZone - not sure which) |

At the top of the pic are pressure tabs. When I took off the old skirt, it didnt not look too promising for them to be a secure fit if re-attached. That is why I bought new ones. BTW, when I ordered the passenger side for $157, both sides came in the package. I dont know if it is a screw up or what. Since I lowered the Magnum, I will be hanging onto the driver side. Oh yeah, they have a "new" design, the bottom of the pic shows a tab that used to wrap around the ridge of the car, now it butts up against it. Supposed to improve clearance. It looks the same as the old style. And last point, when I ordered them the parts guy asked for the paint code, but they came in raw. I dont know if they substituted the 2 raws for a paint version. The parts guy said this is the part number that it shows for the silver (ps2) passenger side.
