Emblem removal?
I am trying to rmove the Rams head emblem from the front grill cross bars and don't want to destroy it in the process. I'm passing it on to another member.
Any suggestions. I'm sure it's easy, but I'm a mechanical simpleton... |

This is what you gotta remove on the back of the facia. It is kinda tricky when I removed mine, but if you pry open all of the plastic clips it will pop right out. Hope this helps |

Some pics of removal...
http://www.custommagnums.com/forums/96206-post35.html Bassically just use some needle nose pliars and pull the plastic back clamps on the fascia, the alternative is to squeeze the crap out of emblem... hth. Last edited by B00MER; 05-17-2008 at 01:24 PM.. |

I was able to remove the emblem without taking the bumper cover off... just took out the top row of pins and pulled it out a little. Used a long screwdriver to pry the clamps back and it lifted right out.
No damage to me or the car... When I'm workin' on a car, being able to claim that is a miracle. Beleive me, I'll bleed long before I'll damage my car. |
