I dont have the JT kit, I have the VDI but I have played with them at car shows on 300C's and they seem to be a decent kit. Almost everyone will say the VDI and LSD are the two top brands and is what most of us have on here. As for the wiring you should not need to cut it or do anything to it, there is enough in the firewall for extra. Just give them a pull and about 8-10 inches of extra wire will come out.

Here are some pics of my kit. Like I said I have the VDI (Vertical Doors Inc.) kit but they should be similar...
![]() ![]() You will need to cut these two parts off. Again this is the VDI kit so it may vary a bit with the JT kit. ![]() ![]() Hope this helps a little. Jayalberts is the vertical door guy on here so he might chime in later or you could PM him. |

Just pull them out. You have to cut the rubber hose in half then peel it back to get to the clip that holds the wiring harness in. The just simply unclip the harness from the clip and pull the wires out.

I know the VDI open 45% of the way (about to the point of where your door has its first "locking" position when opening it. The little pop you hear). I want to say the LSD kit is the same or close but I do not know enough about the JT kit to judge it. The couple of times I played with them they seemed pretty close...
