Installing Halo's...
How many of you that have the AAC Halo's or even replaced the headlights yourself took the whole front bumper off?? Or is there an easier way because I know to my luck I'll have it off think it's safe and it will slip or something and get a big scratch across the front of it. Also I know the bolts for the headlights are hex nuts does any one know what size they are??

Just grab a towel or rag, then...
Pull off the radiator cover pieces (to get to the top bolt of the headlight) Place the rag on the bumper right in front of the headlight Press down on the bumper right in the center of the headlight and look straight in, you will see the bottom bolt. Take out the bottom one first, then the top and pull forward and up. Oh and unplug the wiring ![]() |

IMO. If you remove the four center pins that hold the fascia it is easier when you push down at the center of the headlamp. |

I've had my lights out a number for paint, halos, swaps, etc. -- never had the fascia off. I used HemiLover's description and I pulled all the pins from the top. The bolts are 8mm -- if you have a problem reaching the lower bolt you can take off the belly pans and reach it that way
