I bought 2 rolls of the film on this site in smoke.http://headlightfilms.com/osc/1534-2...ets-p-498.html and a small roll of yellow for my fogs. Just use a spray bottle with soap and water.Few other tools and it was simple.
Tinted the tailights using the VHT spray tint. The entire job from begining to end was less than one hour. Removed both lens, used med steel wool to scuff them, wiped them down with laquer thinner, then masked off the reverse light areas with painter's tape, one more wipe down and sprayed them. Let them dry for about 20 mins and put them right back on. This was an incredibly easy and quick project that came out excellent. Very happy and looks nice!

Used the same product here. Did them last summer. and they have held up great. I sanded mine down first with 2000 grit 3M sand paper and then very light coats of VHT. Then a couple coats of lcear coat to seal it all. I didnt mask off the backup lights, I sprayed the entire assembly... sorked out great IMO. Still ahve good coverage with backup lights.
Be careful, VHT will darken up slightly as it dries. Dotn go too dark at first because its difficult to go back.
I have two sets that were professionally painted & tinted. Just posting to give you some ideas. I use the first set in the Winter and switch to the 2nd set (with no backup lights) in the Summer.
Live in Jersey and I cant find anyone to tint my headlights and tail lights to my Magnum. I tried using the film found on E-bay and man was it a pain in the ass to install. Ended up taking it off cause it didn't look that great. I guess my next option is this VHT Paint.
