I wasn't gonna get my Maggie nekkid after reading about the bubbles on the 05's. Well I gotta 05 and after seeing ForceFed's post on his new rims and him giving me the go ahead I may take the risk this weekend on gettin' her nekkid. I'd like your two cents though....do you think the molding will work with these shoes or not.

Thought I'd throw a current pic in there....I want a "racier" wheel!

IMO... if you are going with Chrome rims, KEEP the trim! Other wise I like the look of them removed. This, however, is one MOD, I DO NOT intend to do to mine. Just got through cleaning mine and hearing LOUD thunder in the distance! Quickly puter back in the garage. LOL

Chrome rims, keep them, they match nicely. Different finish, feel free to take them off. I kept mine on more for the matching look than any functionallity they provide.

So I may have a game plan. If I pull the molding this weekend and no bubbles I'll order the rims! If there are bubbles...well how hard is it to put the molding back on!

IMO take them off the lines are a whole lot smoother with them off yeah you just gotta pay more attention when opening your door if you parked next to something but I like the look alot better on mine even but then agin I have the stock rims for now... till I can afford the 22"s I want
