I'm planning on installing mine next weekend, after they get the black treatment. The stock ones were starting to rot already...

I doesn't look too tough, each one is held in place with 2-#25 torx bolts, pull up and out...

I don't think you need to remove the entire door panel, just the top portion.

OK, so I'm not the only one that has the rotting trim. I feel better now.

I don't know what the issue is with the rubber on the Magnums. The trim looks better on my '97 Intrepid and it is outside all the time...

NOTE: you do have to pull the door panel, as one of the TORX screws is under it (front side closest to mirror). The back one is VERY easy to get to and is visable by simply openning the door. All looks good when complete though.

Question Question for Brett.....

I know this is an "old" thread but I'm new and peeling through this site looking for those pearls of wisdom! Mine are rotting too..... I want to replace them but keep'm black. Brett, you said you got the chrome ones and were giving them "the black treatment"? 2 Q's: Is it cheaper to do what did or replace them with OE parts? Also, how do you do "the black treatment"?
Thanks guys....
Paul

I got the DUB units for only around $64 and used a high quality adhesive promoter and a couple of coats black trim paint. They came out really nice.
One other thing if you use the DUB parts you need to reuse you current tips on the front door moulding pieces, as they have a slightly different shape...
