well i pulled off the dirvers side molding and to my surprise they came off really easy, but when I look a little closer I found 6 bubbles in my drivers door and a ghostly reminder that I took them off.
I ran out of day light so I will have to re clay bar it when the sun comes out, but im kinda bummed
I did find some disturbing info about my car..................its an 05' and the molding has a date on the back of 06'??????????????
its clearly been repainted and for whatever reason the dealership doesn't have to tell you if its not on a carfax report.
Welcome to my nightmare! I took mine off about 2 weeks ago and found out the lower part of the two doors were repainted! The molding came off and I had no bubbles, but the paint was a major issue! My dealer re painted both doors for FREE! They took one look and said no worries, we will fix it. The car is a 2007.
