Are leds safe enough to put in your drill, and where to place them so you don't see the bulb.

I dont know about putting them in your drill... that might not be to safe... lol. They are fine to put in your grille though. You might need to silicone around the base though to make it water tight. Do you have a pic of your grille so we can maybe give some accurate ideas to where to put them?
