I'm looking to tint over the factory tint strip on the front windshield but I'm not sure if I should go with 20% to match the rest of my tints or go darker?
Also whats a good length to make the strip? I'd like it to come down to the bottom of the rear-view mirror.
Yea the front windshield entirely tinted garners way too much attention from the police. I considered getting it done with a 35% tint but here in CT our registration stickers go on the front windshield in the lower driver side corner which stops a lot of people from doing it. I have seen cars where it was tinted over the sticker, but they would have to cut around the tint and remove the sticker when the time came for renewal.
