Shaker system

I really want to put a shaker system on my car but I am having trouble first of all finding a place that sells them, second of all finding out the difference between them. I know that there are a couple of choices out there but like I said, can't find bois or a reseller. Any help is wanted and appreciated. FloridaRT I know you have some insight to this...

Ah yes, you came to the right place................ LOL

First of all, someone over at LXforums has one for sale at a good price.
And it is the best one........... a Danko shaker. So go there and do a search.

There are 2 shakers, the CDC and the Danko - I have had both on my Magnum. The Danko is by far the best one out, it does cost more - but worth it. I will post photos of both systems for you, the CDC is easier to install.
I would go for the Danko shaker.

I think CDC is:

The above is correct now.........

My son and I did both instalations in my garage, I did the hole cutting and he did the painting.

If you have a CDC Shaker on already, you can switch to a Danko, you do need to make the hole in the hood a little bigger. But you can't go from a Danko Shaker to a CDC - as the hole would be too big for the CDC.

Both come with instructions, if you log onto CDC website, you can read the instructions. Danko has no instructions online. I am a big fan of Danko products, I have his shaker, chin spoiler and grille.

Couple of tips for you, when you cut the hole in the hood - cut a small hole first, then you can hold the hood while you cut the bigger hole. It is possible to install the shaker with the hood on the car, but it is easier with the hood off of the car.

Some photos for you.

Bob

I thought I had a way worked out for the v6 with a little moding...but after seeing my hood....figured it was less hassle and work... so the shaker went out to a v8er....and besides... my hood is functional.

the guy I sold my shaker to might still have it up for sale...I can check??
