This is out there for whoever needs it. ....its GONNA HAPPEN!! Mine broke at 80k miles, next day after the shindig. Just glad it was in my driveway, and not 360 miles away in GA!
So, I rigged this up while I waited for my rockauto version...(guess its aluminium, it didnt stick to my magnet tray) But, I figured, if ya need it, TAKE it! PM and get that POS outta here! ....spring inluded (the replacements have a slightly bigger spring.....and they attach to a METAL!! hook) ...picture to be added
I ordered one before I went to Ga. and it still sits in my console. Gota get this on pronto.

In case you want to see one:
This is the pink thing that breaks (that little hook):
You can also drill a hole in the pink thing and use a cotter pin to hook the spring onto.

I've owned my share of 12 & 13 sec. cars, my stock RT suits me just fine.
I need to get me a BT replacement just to have on hand but thanks to Nyinstaller's advise, I don't think I'll be stuck on the side of the road if mine does break..
What is this piece you all are refferring too and what does it do?

its a 'shift interlock latch' technically, commonly know as the Pink Thingy!
Basically.... its gonna break!! Not if, but when. I think I seen why...It looks like the plastic hook might just eventually get cut by the spring constantly moving. So, you need to replace it. Because when it does break...your stuck in park. You can get lucky and get it released to get home an order 1.... you can get a spare in the glove box....ORRRRR.... you can do the wise thing, and just replace it. BTW .... i would've DEFINITELY bought 1 at the ShinDig. ...(my response when I seen T's, ' ...YES!! they got them!? DAMN thats the last 1!?')Anyway, big THANX to NYinstaller for a quick guide last night
BT makes 1, guaranteed for life!
I got mine from RockAuto.com.... was $32 shipped, ($10 s&h....ouch) I was actually gonna buy a few extras to ship2 you guys, but they wanted $10 per piece...yeah, OK! no thanx
....(a'hem).... kinda.
