Oil cooler / oil temp / pressure guage(s)

I'll try to keep this as short as possible, but I have a few questions not so much on installing the oil cooler, but mainly oil temp before and after etc.

1) Does anyone have an oil temp. guage installed...if so what temp is your oil reading (for an RT)?

2) Has anyone installed an oil cooler? What was temp of oil before installing the oil cooler vs. after the oil cooler was installed?

I know keeping your fluids as cool as possible (within reason) is a good thing, but...

3) Other than keeping your oil cooler (vescosity lasts longer?) is it worth the trouble...will I benefit more by installing vs. not? If so, what?

4) Horse power gains? will I get any at all?

I know the factory RT police pckg. has an oil cooler installed on them and Dodge has the oil cooler kit you can purchase but its a PITA...you have to remove the factory nipple for the oil filter from the engine block and the oil cooler kit basically has a water jacket that runs through it and connects to your upper / lower radiator hoses. Glow Shift guages has a kit that I purchased that utilizes a condensor type of set up and you don't have to remove the engine block nipple...it has an adapter that connects where the oil filter screws on too and the filter then connects to the adapter etc.

I've been reading as much as I can since joining and haven't found alot of info about it on custommagnum.

JayAlbert...any insight on this? Did you install this with your oil pressure guage?

I can submit pics as I install, but it may be a few weeks...I'm in the last 7 weeks of a 10 mo. academy so time is limited.
