Will I be looking for a new instrument cluster??

Ok I did the MDS light mod I wanted it to look stock so I put a LED in the dash cluster..... LOOKS Great my question is the dash back lit area of the dash was drilled for this install.. now the back lit still works. but will it work over time does anyone know the design of the back lit sheet is it liquid quartz and did I screw it up by drilling a hole in it ?????

looks clean - good job on the install.

from what i know the crystals are sandwiched inbetween 2 thin layers of glass that are filled with liquid. So assuming it is working now and nothing i coming out i would think it will work.........

So basically make sure its sealed and if it works it works (and hopefully wont freak out later)
