Fog lights & high beams
I just noticed that whenever I have my high beams on the fog lights turn off....as soon as the highs are off the fogs come right back on, wtf I cant figure it out.
Do I need to go to the stealership or can I fix this myself? |

Fogs turn off because...just because! Well, if you use hi beams in fog, you won't see anyhing because the light will reflect off of the water, hence it's a good thing you can rock fogs and parking lights. You can rewire them.

Tech's checklist: 1. Go to vehicle preparation. 2. Select Fog lamp output. Start this program. You will be asked if you want to enable the output for the fog lamps. Simply click Next. 3. The next question is the crucial question. Your car is typically set to US/Can/Me. Set it for Export by clicking on the button that says "Export". Hit Finish and wait about 20 seconds. You now have fog lights that will stay on with the high beams. |

it cant be done with the 08's though...a guy in our local LX community works for a dealer and tried it on mine and couldnt do it, so unless someone else has done it (and should let me know LOL) it wont work for the 08's
