Question Bent rims... long distance trip???

I have to make a trip to WV in three weeks, it's about 650 miles each way from CT. The problem, is that I recently found out I had two slightly bent rims during a balance and the rims were moved to the rear. The car now has a slight vibration in the seats at higher speeds and I was wondering what kind of potential danger or damage would I see if I made the trip with the bent rims?

Before this recent balance and rotation, the steering wheel would shake violently at high speeds so I'm happy that issue is gone... but this new problem with the vibration is worrying me a bit.

I too would be worried...

I recommend having someone look at them, your safety is worth far more then what it would cost to fix, don't you think?

A valid point. I had them checked out and it's lookin like it's going to cost me the same to replace them as it would if I had them repaired. I'm still going to look for a local shop that could possibly help me out with a lower price on the fix... I had went to one of those auto repair shops for a quote instead of going straight to the rim repair specialist.

hello don't waste the money having them repaired i don't think i would travel far on bent rims it will hurt the tires and put stress on the rear end components in the end it will cost a lot more try to change the bent rims do you still have your factory rims maybe put them on for your trip
