Bags & Horns ??
I didn't want to thread jack so...
Just wondering who has bags and horns? Do you hook them to the same air tank? How does the pressure hold up with supporting bags and horns? just curious.. ![]() |

You do/can hook it all up to the same tank. train horns usually ask for 150psi where air ride I believe calls for 175psi so your horns will just be that much louder... I know lowriderman has bags with like 9 horns hooked up to his setup. I plan on doing this in the near future.

that was also a question of mine.. once the bags are inflated.. do they still rely on pressure from the air tank? or are the sealed off.. meaning if you pump the bags up could you unhook the tank and the bags still be inflated?(not that i would want to, just helps me see what is going on)

Here is a quick drawing I made in paint. With bags you will just need to duplicat the horn route 4 more times...
There is also some wiring of course but I just wanted to show the big stuff. ![]() |

bags on all corners are sealed from tank pressure. You can run off an airline to the horns from the same tank as the bags, the only thing that will affected is tank pressure, that's it BUT less air in tank does mean less playin with the bags. To correct that issue, install 1-2 more compressors for quicker fill-ups.Cheers

I have both, but on separate tanks. I thought about using an individual tank, but the air horns will usually require a higher grade of hose. If you plan to do this, make sure you locate your actuators close to the tank so line leaks will only be detected when the solenoids are activated. That way, your pump does not constantly run, increasing your chances of overheating. If you plan to do this, run two pumps instead of one.

^ good info. But just for the bags I'm runnin 2 compressors, not neccessary but nice to have. If I was to run horns on the same air supply, i'd add 2 more compressors. Not necessary...but nice to have
