Stange thing happened this morning....

This was a little weird and scary....Right after leaving this morning for work after about 1.5 miles I noticed the car slowing down and the throttle not doing anything....I coasted into the center lane, popped her in "N" and on the second push she revved up.... After that no problems...I did the button thing with the EVID and watched the Throttle position and it seemed to be working fine.... It was 19 outside.... Have any of you had this problem???? I REALLY hate to take her into the dealer.......

The only one I see for me is the rear end retainer.....The car went to idle, smooth as can be, it was like the pedal was not connected to anything....I will keep you all posted.....strange....But this was the coldest I have ever driven her in.....

hmmm.. My first guess was frozen gas line ...hmmmm let me think on this a lil...

I would say a best practice in your wicked cold would be to fill up at 1/2 tank....Allow car enough time to warm up properly..

It was a full tank and car was at 175 and what it did was just go back to idle, with no pedal response, then after about ten seconds everything was fine, I think it was more an electrical problem with the throttle sensor since she idled perfect.....very strange, but Thanks for the good wishes and the good ideas!!! I am going to talk to the dealer tomorrow and see what they say....yeah I know it will be a waste of time but I want to follow protocol...haha, their protocol......How many starts is Tee up to now?? Time for a new starter? ;-)

MAGGIE BLUE is making a name for themself!
When it is cold out Maggie Blue isn't much good till she warms up. Then she's good for the day. She runs like I'm playing with the gas pedal. As usual, the dealer has no idea.
