DENIED!!! Can't understand wives!!

Ok, I give up.

Those that are married, why does the spouse (particularly wives), make things difficult, esp. when it is simple stuff.

I was going to do something simple this weekend. I was going to take off the side moldings today....and I was denied. Wifey told me I cant touch those for a year. I was able to debadge the Mag, but when it came to the side moldings, did I ever hit a wall. I just dont understand how women think sometimes (no offense Mag ladies). She was ok with the debadging, and ordering the Charger tip. She is affraid that I will scratch the Mag. I have debadge my other cars, and my motorcycles. I showed her what I did and was impressed. Man, she doesnt make any sense.

i know what you mean, my wife. aka.. ( bad half ) was the same way then when she went to work i had them removed, she dident know for days by then it's to late, the molding are in the garbage. i told her if she wants them to go buy them. lets just say there is no molding on the car and i never bought any. good luck.... jim

I feel your pain bro... I wanted to take my moldings off, but I got denied....She let me debadge it and yet still no molding removals, so I'm waiting til she gets her SRT and I am gonna remove the moldings on that just to get it out of my system.....

Thats so funny that topic came up today! This a.m. when i got up i went out side to wipe down the "MAG" and ended up debadging her. It came off really easy with the fishing line method ,wiped it with adhesive remover, polished up and "BAM!!!" like it was never there. My wife didnt even notice?

I feel for you guys my girl helps me pick mods and even buys me mods for christmas birthdays and such shit she bought my scratch pad for an easter present, sportline springs for Christmas I could go on but dont want to rub to deep

i was thinking about doing just that. One day, i would tell her i am going to work in the garage, to make something, but instead taking off the side molding with out her noticing. Funny thing though, she said she will, she will check it every day, and that if I were too with out her permission..... oh man... I dont even want to think about it. I will be the good husdand that I am, and just leave it be............or just nag the hell out of her about it, and show her all of every1 elses Mags without it. Maybe it will change her mine. We'll see.

Or maybe I will buy a new couch instead of parts for the Mag. That way I can be more comfortable for the next couple of months..but at least I will have a cleaner look!!

Don't get me wrong, my boss has no problem with me modding my car, actually she told me to stop dumping money into my old SE and go get the SRT....and every mod since then she's been cool with except removing the molding...Which I don't understand....

IN THE BEGINNING after getting the SRT:

Me: Babe I want louder exhaust...How about JBA's
Boss: Let me hear them first....
Me: (Thinking to myself DAMNIT!) UHH OK

Pull up sound clips from JBA (Damnit didn't turn down speakers.)

Boss: WOW Those sound nice. Ok get them

6months and lots of mods later

ME: Hey what about HighFlow Cats..
Boss: will it give you more horsepower?
Me: yep
Boss: Ok remember you said once you get it to 400 to the wheels that's it for awhile
Me: I know I Know
Boss: Ok go ahead and get them...

NOTE: I saw her looking at headers the other day online....hehehehehehe She like to make sure I either get or exceed my quota in everything...Looks like I may be getting headers soon....Hmmmm Fathers day maybe..

I feel your pain guys, yesterday we were at the hangout together and the removal of the side moldings came up and she gave me the evil eye, little does she know that i ordered the Eibach springs and by next weekend the car will be lowered..

Oh man I have tried. I showed her many times. She kinda likes it. But she is so stubborn. She wants me to wait to do it.
