Factory Navigation Question

Hey everyone! I have two questions on the factory navigation system. When the car is in motion, the menu changes and you cannot change routes or addresses (for obvious safety reasons.) Is there any way to change this? (for obvious aggravation reasons). I often travel for my work and need to make changes and can't always just stop in route.

My second question is that I have seen a few Mags with Navigation that have changed their factory screen to watch movies. How is that done and can you still use the navigation? I assume a video source has to be added.

I appreciate any help on this.

There is a in motion hack for the DVD that drives the system and you can check out TVandNAV2go: Mobile video mobile tv mobile video system mobile satellite tv mobile video systems nav tv car tv dvd car video car dvd car tv car video system car satellite tv video interface car navigation system car video navigation car navigation gps car tv scre for the hack to play DVD's on the NAV screen.

There was a project to make a DIY cable based setup for the NAV Screen, but production is delayed at present from the last word I heard.
