While surfing the web I found this... What do u guys think??
Cars.com: 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8
looks pretty clean, and as long as they fixed it right I don't have any problem with branded titles. If you are going to be keeping it for a while, then the value deduction will even itself out in the end. just be sure that it was repaired with quality....anyone can say it was professionally fixed when they did it themselves in the backyard

No way!!! I got my '06 SRT with 33k miles and a CLEAN title for $20k. You can do waaaaay better!
^not sure what you mean by WAY better. Looks to be the exact same car as what you have, with the same miles, for more that $4K less dollars ASKING price, not to mention what they would actually take for it......... Assuming of course that the damage was not severe and it was fixed correctly like i said before, there would be nothing wrong with the car, and sitting next to a "clean title" in a parking lot or at the drag strip, whos going to know?? not saying that either ones a better deal than the other....just think that people are way too scared of branded titles without doing the homework on the car first

I agree with OneLook. A couple years ago i ordered mine new for $43K and if i saw one with a salvage title for that price, then hell yeah id buy it, but now you can get these things for under $25k all day, some still with the warrantys. I had a Lexus LS 400 with a salvage title and could never get it right even after two years of BS, so for me i would never buy a car with a salvage title, but like GreenKing said, do your research, it might work out for you.
even though it's tempting, don't even think about it beacuse of the salvage title!
its all about the car, and how it was affected in the first place, and if it was damaged then do your homework and have it looked at. There are problems if stuff isn't taken care of. On the other hand, every insurance company out there, as soon as a vehicle is stolen, pays you off. When the car is recovered, no matter the condition, it is given a salvage title. If that srt was babied every single day since new, some kid took it outta the guys drive way, and they got it back from him a week later with the door being all dented up from some careless driving,,,,its got a salvage title "with previous side damage" as described in the add. Im just saying that a car should not be dismissed simply becuase of its title history or status. That car could be in showroom condition, with not a thing in the world wrong with it, except the title having a brand on it, and he could save 5-8K over what they are selling for right now otherwise. Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me......
