Getting to the rear of the radio
Greetings. I have a 2006 that I'm trying to get to the rear of the radio to unplug the antenna. I want to plug in a Sirius radio cord. Having problems going wireless. Is there a place that I can find the information that I need to do this? I got down under the dash, but I didn't see much hope there. Maybe removing the front panel? Thanks in advance.

You'll need to remove the bezel and pull the radio out from the front. Remove the rubber thingy in front of the ashtray (just lays in there) then open the ashtray and gently pull toward the shifter. Point the vents all the way down, stick your fingers on the edge below the vents and give a little pull. Then give another little pull up under the bottom where the ashtray was. There are 4 clips holding the bezel on, two on top under the vents, two on either side of the radio and two down by the ashtray. Unplug the climate controls and wiper/esp switch assembly. The radio is held in by screws on the front, just take those out and the radio will slide right out....
The chrysler radios have a funny little antenna port, you may need an adapter |

Maggie Blue. HemiLover's got it. Just follow his lead, it should all make since once you start taking it apart. Very simple and easy to get it out. And welcome from the Eastside. Va of course. Enjoy the site. ![]() |
