Sad News for Dutch

Hey everyone,

Sad news here for Dutch. My car was supposed to be back from the custom shop on Monday with suicide doors and all shaved handles. However, due to what i can only consider thier incompetency, I recieved my car back yesterday. Sadly the car wasn't well done. Some parts were missed when repainted, the stripe no longer matches up in the back, the tires for some reason are all messed up. Lastly, when i took it from them and got out of it for the first time I couldn't get back in. The door poppers would not pop out my doors, period. Doors wouldn't open period. So now i'm stuck with a car that i can't get into and that is stuck at the top of a parking garage. I'll have to leave it here in cali, and take a rental out to florida as I have to be there for the military. Hopefully I can drop it my car back off at The Shop that did the work and it will get sent out to me in better shape in a week or so.

Wish me luck as I drive across the US. And that I get my car working and back to me soon.

Man that sucks!!!! Make sure to post the name of the shop so that people down your way can avoid it. Shabby work seems to be the norm today for a lot of shops. Hope they get it fixed..Post up some pics when they do!

Man, Dutch... When I read a story like this it makes me wish there was something I could do to help... have a safe trip.

Sorry to hear that Dutch! It stinks when you pay somebody to do a job and and they can't do it right! Which base are you going to on the Emerald Coast?

man That Sucks. I SAY WE ALL GO TO THE UN-CUSTOM SHOP HE WENT TO AND....AND A LITTLETHEN MAYBE SOME AND THEN WHEN WE LEAVE...:fing07::fing07:THEN GO HOME AND SO WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT.

Sorry to hear about your mess. Hope it gets straitened out quick. As for the Smile's JMAG, they are addictive.

Man sorry to hear about your bad shop experience. sounds like one around my way. no doubt throw there Name around as a bad business. Make sure they fixit right first though. I hate people that take your maney and do a half assed job!

I'm actually headed to Hurlburt Field. Right in Fort Walton Beach. Shouldn't be to bad of a place to live. Got a nice condo on the beach. Gonna have to get a bicycle for the first while though, till my car gets back.

At least I can work off a few of the beers pounds i gained while being on leave and doing nothing for 2 months.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Dutch.
I gotta say that you are taking it very well. Very even keel and disposition.
You're a better man than I am (although I am trying everyday).

Sorry to hear about man!!! that really does suck! Hope everything get straigntened out for ya and soon! It sucks to anticipate new mods to your whip and you get it back and it's F'd UP!
