SunRoof Problem

Just happened today, my sunroof stopped working. I looked in the manual, and did not see anything about a fuse. I planned on taking it to the dealership tomorrow since the Mag is brandnew, but thought I would tap some of your minds. Is there a fuse for it?

I had the same problem with my silver 06 hemi. You have to check fuse 40 it has come loose. It is in the back simply just press down on all the fuses and it will work again.

Yeah, usually it just shakes loose. Just check all your fuses, it's the quickest fix.

Would checking fuse 40 help if my sunroof doesn't "seal" all the way closed? Mine works, opens and tilts fine, but whenever I close it, it recently stopped sealing shut.... there's a small space between the roof and sunroof in the back (if you can picture it....)

I know exactly what you mean now. My Mag started to do the same and water would come through. I took it to the dealership and they stated they had to updae the sunroof control software. They didn't charge me anything but the Mag was there for a different reason .

Yeah if it's not a problem like DA HNIC says you can try to adjust it. Behind those rubber "accordian" thingy's along the sides (between the glass and interior cover) there are some adjustment screws. With the roof closed loosen up the adjustments slightly and push up on the rear of the glass then tighten everything back up. A buddy lookin at the roof may help...

I once heard that there is a self calibrating procedure for the sunroof closing.
I think it was as easy as just holding down the close button for 3-5 seconds.
I am not sure of the exact procedure. Maybe it is in the manual? I will try this on my car after work tonight and see what happens.

This might be the procedure that will work for Rob007's problem.
