Tire question
I just ordered a set of Boss 338 in black. 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. I am also getting EIBACH pro kit springs installed on Wednesday. My question is with the pro kit and staggered wheels what tire size? 245/45 20 in the front or will 255/45 work and will 275/40 work in the rear? Or do I need to do 245/45 in the front and 255/45 in the rear?

Got 255 45 20 in front on a 8.5 rim, fit perfect but I will change for 255 40 20 because i found the side wall too high
For the rear I got 295 30 22 on a 10.5 rim, no problem
Mine are 22 in the back so you can put as wide as 295 in the back, just keep the heigh with no more than 3 % in differance of diameter to not alter the stability control.

I have 22" rims on a 35W wall, 2" lower and it still fits.. slight rubbing on the front fenders... I wouldnt recommend this size, just telling you that you can go pretty big.

Thanks for the input!! Rims came in Friday and are sitting in my living room (SO PRETTY), pro-kit installed yesterday. I am out of town and not picking it up till tonight, cant wait to see it. Tires should be here any day! Cant wait to see it all together.

Putting wider wheels on LX's requires some planning. It needs to be done right or you're going to have issues. Particularly when lowering. If you've done your planning and considered the following, then good for you, enjoy! But in case you haven't, here are a few things to consider..........
(BTW- If you have questions, please ask)
Some Magnums came with Nivomat self leveling rear shocks. If you have these, the rear of your car will not lower no matter which springs you use. They came standard on SRTs and on some R/T's. If you have standard shocks on the rear, lowering won't be your issue.
Just remember that with a 10" wheel in the back, you may have rubbing issues.
If you don't have the nivomats, you'll probably need to roll the rear fenders. Especially if you're dropping. If the wider wheel puts your rear tire under the fender lip and you lower while keeping the stock shocks (non nivomat), Rough roads will bounce your fender into your tire.
You can really help yourself out by installing quality performance dampers (shocks) at the same time.
Koni make the STR.T dampers
Eibach makes the Pro dampers
There are other brands also.

245/45 in the front and 275/40 in the back. Good thing I did the pro-kit. I was going to do the sportlines but I think I would have had rubbing issues.
