Pink thingy Replacement.

Yeah I always forget that I modded mine that way. Now that I remember, I just took everything out that would make it lock up. I remember thinking my trans was toast when I got in my car for work the morning it locked on me. My roommate bumped the car back n forth while I pulled on the shifter with it on and nothing! I had to tell my employees I would be late which I never do. I thought my tranny was done for so I spend the whole day online researching it and found this was common.

Inside the shifter housing is a pink thing that in the lx car they break and leaves the car in park, can't shift to that is the replacement to the plastic piece.

SO THAT'S what this world famous "pink thingy" is! lol
