Both rear windows quit operating. What's a good starting point to diagnose and repair a problem of this nature?

sit in the back seat, slam the door while pushing down on the window roll down button for that window....
Second. It's a very common issue on LXes. Replacing the motor will fix it.
might just be the switch. do the windows work when operating them from the rear door switches? happened to me, the main switch on the driver door was fubared and i had it replaced years ago. been fine since.

and if this gets it rolling down which normally does , cause its a common problem, roll the back windows down regularly when u are in the car, and it helps keep them working...my cars back windows would never roll down when i wanted them too, i started rolling them down and back up every day, and now they work fine, even if i dont roll them down daily..
That's great info, I went with pressing the window button down and slamming the door closed. I was able to get both windows going again. Sounds like the key is to keep things moving so they don't freeze up. Thanks for the help.
