    Upgrade my breaks

Not sure if I should post here or in the suspension section...

Have a 2005 R/T bolt on mods so far: CAI with RKSport fiberglass scoop hood +CATback+Tuner (with custom dyno tune) now time for a brake job. Want to see if anyone can recommend an upgrade to the brakes vs using stock pads and rotors.

Any suggestions on a good brake kit?

    Thanks

    Ralph

You want just a pad & rotor upgrade or are you talking about a complete system upgrade?

R1 concepts has a good selection of rotor/pad upgrades.

Wilwood makes some of the best brake system upgrades available. Their kits bolt directly to the R/T spindles and knuckles, eliminating costly replacement of those parts as other kits can require.
The Wilwood "plus 2" kit that I went with included all new 14.25" 2 piece rotors with 6 piston calipers in front, 13" 2 piece rotors with 4 piston calipers in back, stainless steel brake lines, street performance pads, fluid and all mounting hardware.

Here's the kit that I installed on my car
