I used sheet metal for mine pretty easy i think i use construction paper to make a template then cut it out of metal then just bent it till it fit correctly....cut holes for the switches i used.. covered in matching material from my seats (came with new seat covers) installed switches and used double stick tap to mount... to run wires just pop the shift bezel off I think it already has a hole inside the pocket to route wires to the switches....
