Anyone got Black Seatbelts?
Since I'm doing the color change on the interior I thought I'd switch out the seatbelts too. The parts tech's 'puter only gave him codes -- no colors -- and none of the LXs on the lot had black belts so the VIN deal was out.
Does Chrysler even offer black belts? I suppose I could try dye on the belts. Help? Suggestions? |

They are available, as seen in the pic below but I believe they are dark slate (like the dash), not black..

You could take the belt assembly apart and go to a junkyark and get some belts that are black. I did that in my impala. i just took out the passanger side belt and went searchin through the yard to find a belt that was the same width. then i took out all the belts and reattached all the hardware. I ended up having to take them to a professional seanstress to have them sawn. it was alot of work but it was worth it.
