    My interior Color Change

    I started out just a few months ago with a stock interior and over the past few months almost everything in the car has been stripped out and painted in Black and Cool Vanilla. Here's some pics of the completed work -- all that remains is the upgrade to the seats (SRT Katzkins in Black and whatever is closest to Cool Vanilla).

    maddad, the peices on ur steering wheel just pop out if u take ur airbag loose(d/c the battery at least 15 min b4 to allow the airbag capacitor to drain) theres a write up on LXforums how to do it, but it is just 2 10mm bolts on the back of the wheel.

    Next time i see ur interior they better be cool vanilla

    man what a major difference that headliner makes! (the rest of it too)

    I really like the rear panels in black...looks great! I'm curious to know how it will all hold up, will ya let us know?

    If I do them it'll probably be in black-- that's too high traffic for C/V --but I promised HemiLover I was through painting inside

    I'm surprised at what a difference the black headliner makes too. The rear panels are holding up pretty well considereing the amount of use it gets. I get some chipping/scratching especially where the deck folds. I'm thinking of covering either the deck or the area that gets scratches with material to reduce the friction area. All the other pieces I painted I haven't had any problems with, even the door sills amazingly. None of these pieces are clear coated either which might reduce the scratching/chipping.
