It is Magnesium, I was kinda worried about the look, but I like it. I plan on painting anything that is metal colored. Will bring a whole new look I think.
I actually took my laptop to the garage with me. I am trying to perfect the art of multitasking.![]()
Yea I have the same plans as you to turn everything metal color match as well. i think it will give a subtle touch to the rest of the interior once it is black. I was eyeballing my door levels this afternoon and wondering how the hell to get them out. I have one of my door panels in the living room floor right now.
and yea im digging the color of the magnesium against the black.

Yup. Then do the radio bezel and the air vent bezels and the shifter bezel and steering wheel control knobs and bezel.....then ship them to ME!!!!!!!!!
You can also do the little silver strips on the ash tray cover and the strip on the flip out cup holder as well. I hope your taking all this down Im tossing out ideas left and right here!!!!!

Hey Greg, it looks great! And the whole laptop in the garage thing, exactly what chris and I did when painting our interior trim pieces, lol. Partially to check how to take things out so as not to break anything and also to let yall know what we were doin, lol.
Keep it up Greg, maybe you'll have a figurative tatoo sleeve of painted trim pieces, lol!
Oh, and I like the painted shift knob, matches better in my opinion. Have fun!
