how do i remove the dash?

    how do i remove the dash?

    i am changing the color of my interior and i cant get the dash off...i have all the screws and bolts out that i can see but it seems to be stuck on the top still...anyone taken their whole dash out that can help??

    wow that sounds like allot of work..you might try going to a dealer if you have one close they can look up the dash in the system and it will show all the parts and screws and such......good luck!

    Help me dismantle this (MadDad?)

    The other side is probably not that much different.
    I am sure MadDad will chime in. He has pretty much had his interior gutted before.

    The other side (bottom) is the glove box which comes out pretty easy... but if you're talking upper dash I don't think it's been done (yet). I'll see what I can pull from the LX Service Manual

    Wow! Don't try this at time!

    From the LX Service Manual --best I can do....Don't think it's worth it though, I think I'd mask and paint if I was going to do it.

    thanks for the info everyone...i tried looking for it and couldnt find anything(thanks madad)...i might end up masking it but dont know yet ill have pics of my interior up soon its all gonna be redone!
