Hi everyone,
The lights on my A/C controls have burnt out, so I can't see the temperature, direction and intensity of the air controls.
2 questions,
1) how do I get into that compartment to replace the bulbs.
2) What type of bulbs should I get? Is there a particular name of the light or color??
I would like to do this ASAP because they've been out for a month or so now and it's driving me crazy!!!
Thanks very much everyone.

If I remember right these aren't replaceable -- have to buy a new unit. I think someone was going to try to solder new ones in but don't recall seeing an update where they accomplished it.
That does suck

Hey everyone. So i've ordered a whole new AC controls unit and the dealership has let me know it's under warranty, which is good.
I told them i could install it myself but someone said that the unit would need to be programmed!
Does the AC control portion need to be programmed?? When I took my dash apart I unplugged and re-plugged this unit in and it worked fine.

BUMP for ya.... I have no idea!
I had not heard that before but I found this, so it appears there is some programming needed.
Air conditioner: The A/C may gradually get worse while driving in hot, humid weather because the evaporator ices up and blocks airflow. This requires reprogramming the automatic temperature control unit. (2006)

You may need to do a reprograming procedure to get all the door to work properly and the temperature to go all the way from hot to cold. If you PM me I can look that up for you in the AM when I get to work. It should be a very easy to do you don't need to go to the dealer to have it done and you don't need scan tool to do it from what I can remember. It is usually just a step by step procedure and it very simple.
