Front door switches converted over to LED/SMD now along with my shifter. Waiting until dark now to see how it looks. Was a big/huge PITA to do the door switches....but at least they are done. I learned alot of do's and don'ts while doing it, so now I know how to better do it next time

Well, it is up to you...but if you want to send everything I could do the a/c seperately and get it sent back out to you ASAP, then just send everything else out once I get them done.

Would there be any issues with driving with the components ripped out besides just not having use of whatever system it was hooked to?

Wow TI that's one hell of an offer, if I was anywhere near you I would take it up in a heartbeat since I've been looking into doing this myself and a local shop was gonna charge $800. Good on you for offering your services free of charge

There really isn't a single issue I can think of as far as vehicle operation is concerned. Unless of course you remove your headlight switch, then you obviously aren't going to be driving in the dark.

Ya, I've heard of some people being charged/quoted $300 before by shops to do this, which I think is crazy high as it is...let alone what they wanted to charge you! I have less than $30 invested in everything that I have done so far, not counting what the soldering gun and solder cost because I already had that laying around anyways. So, I thought this would be a good way of giving back to the forum community for all the information and help I've gotten along the way. Plus, working on cars is something I love to do, and it really helps to keep my mind off things and just distract me from life in general

Well, I figured I'd give a little update. So far it looks like I have 3 or 4 people up for doing this that are either going to send they're parts, or drive to me to do for them. Also sounds like I have around 4 or 5 possible/maybe's on top of that. So, there seems to be enough interest in this for me to go forward with this. I have yet to do my HVAC and headlight switch, so until those are done I am going to hold off on doing anybody's parts, until I know for sure myself what all is required to get everything done. With luck on my side I should have all that done by the end of the week as long as my resistors come and and they are the correct ones I need, (if my research turns out to be reliable).

I would like to also give a shoutout to Radglenn who has offered me a 12V power supply system in order to do my work/testing inside which will in turn shorten the time it'll take me to test everything out, as well as keeping the wear and tear on my car down to a minimum. Plus, now I won't have to worry about the weather interfering with anything also! So, if you are one of the people who are going to get they're lights done, or are thinking about it make sure to thank him sometime for his added help with this!

I also have some potentially great news to share! I was recently contacted by a local Oracle dealer who I am in the beginning stages of discussing with him about supplying the LED/SMD's for everything. I don't know anything at the moment as far as prices, group discounts, etc... But, I am getting the ball rolling, so just bear with me. He lives/works about 3-4 hours drive away from where I live, so he should be a great source for getting everything from delivered quickly, and good quality. So, if I get a bad batch of LED's, run out, etc... it will be an easy call and within a day or two get whatever...instead of waiting a week from a seller across the country. But, again it all depends on his prices/group discounts/etc... I really do not know what everybody is expecting to spend on the bulbs to get everything done, so in the end it's really up to you guys as to what you want.

But, I'm not going to really delve any deeper into this until I know more details. But, I just wanted to touch base with everybody and to let you know what is going on. If you have any questions/concerns/ideas/ or even feedback on the Oracle connection I am trying to work on, please don't be afraid to say/ask/message...etc...
