Passanger seat weight sensors

Ok does anyone have any info on this?? I'm changing my seats out and would like to either transfer the sensor pad over to the new seat or set it up so the passanger bag is always on. From what i hear after removing you need to get it recalibrated at the dealer...is there anyway around this??

Charg-um is just warmin' up!
It is a dealer deal, sorry. There is a lengthy calibration process they do, they charged me for 2 hours @ 100/hr.

Well decided to just switch covers, today I switched out the cover on my passanger seat and no problem at all. I first disconnected the battery unbolted the seat and was very careful with it on removal after switching out the cover and putting everything back in started my car and no airbag light....let me tell you I was happy to see that
