Might be, but at least they don't weight a ton and won't affect your braking distances that much, plus they won't break the bank, so 20's are still in my book.

I agree. I like the look of the 22's, but the added weight and cost are pushing me to the 20's. Plus, the stock suspension and brakes are designed to handle a 20" wheel and the lower profile of the 22's will make the car ride rougher than I like. I will take function over form. But, to each his, or her, own.
You won't have any rubbing issues with either of those tire sizes. Check out our wheel and tire guide .... Wheel and Tire Guide
I run 255x45x20 all the way around and it works for me. Which wheels are you thinking about purchasing?
Im looking at Foose Nitrous-Gray. My Magnum is silver, so I think they would look good. Everyone keeps telling me that chrome doesnt look good on silver cars. I want give her a more of a throwback look, as opposed to blingy. What do you think?

I was getting 20's........I absolutely was NOT getting 22's......I talked to my custom guy who said he has customers coming in several times a month regretting the 20's and moving up to 22's. He said if you look at, and he showed me, a Magnum with 20's on,they look "NO DIFFERENT" then what a factory rim looks like in size. It's a fact. 22's DO look larger. If you have a good shop that knows what they are doing and knows their product, nobody should have issues IMO. The weight I guess is an issue you can't get around unless you get a lighter rim. Braking distance? Never thought of that, guess I don't ever have an issue braking and not hitting anything.....As for the cost? It's not nearly as much as I thought. I told my custom guy I was not paying the big bucks to move from 20's to 22's. He showed me the numbers, and he was right. The 22's cost $216.00 (total for the 4 rims, $54 per rim) more then the 20's. Not much in my books.I am posting this reply with the greatest of respect and not intending it to come across as bitchiness, RD

I was dead set on getting the Foose Nitrous Gray I love the look.....Make sure the dealer you are using can GET them. The word on the street is the GRAY is NOT made anymore, so dealers are getting and/or using up the remaining stock. Because of this I thought if I had an issue say in a year, I could not or may not be able to get a replacement rim......This is merely the information I HAVE. I trust my source, but check for yourself....E-mail FOOSE, is likely the most trusted word on it....RD

I think that's a good choice of wheel! You have to go with what you want, if you want chrome to go with your silver car then go with it! You can't let other people dictate what is best for your Mag. Chrome is pretty blingy but you can still have a decent look with any chrome wheel.

Foose Nitrous-Gray it is then! I'm gonna see what I can do in the next few weeks. I'll be sure to post some pics, Unfiortunately, I had to put in a new a/c on the house, so plans have been set back a bit.
