Bumpsteer is exactly that. It's the cars tendancy to what to steer left or right on it's own as the suspension travels vertically. When our cars are lowered, the angle of the tierods change. This change in angle and can have an effect on bumpsteer. Typically bump steer is eliminated by setting the tie rods at the proper angles according to the vehicles primary ride height. There are kits available that change the angle of the tierods by shimming the tierod end at the lower ball joint.
