    Hey!

I chose it because....its more fun (working with natural materials), the average pay is better, there are way more job opportunities, the competition isnt there (we're a community, not fighting for each others jobs), and many more reasons.

If you hae any questions, shoot me a PM and I'd be happy to talk it over. I love my major, and I love what I'm doing right now!

I painted the mirrors on my Hayabusa, not the car, but they were same material (wrinkle bumpy black plastic). I sand them down, removing the molding seam, then the exterior to get rid of the bumpy texture. Prep with plastic adhesion promoter, couple coats of sandable primer, then 3+ coats same color-match paint (Nebular Black in that case). Wet sanded with 1000g very little bit, dried and shot 4 coats of clear. Wet sanded with 1000g, 1500g then 2000g, followed by a healthy polishing with a power ball and polishing liquid. Worked wonderfully. Hope this helps.

I actually used a program called 3D Ripper DX to get the model out of the game L.A. Rush. It is a super low poly version of the car, and when I am done there will be very little left of the original model.

Here is the magnum the way it was after ripping it out of the game: www.thequicklife.com/magnum.3ds

You'll of course need a 3d editing program to use it.
