Hey Mathias, I'm not sure of what post you are talking about.
I do not have a Diable Tuner.
I finally went and had the dealer replace the EGR assembly for about $216.
I'm not sure of the consequences of removing it (via Billet Tech EGR delete kit) and then disabling it via the Diablo.
I know that the EGR has to do with emissions and that might effect you when Smog Check time comes around.

I worked for Long Beach P.D., spent a few years in patrol, then trained for motors. I was a detectives til retirement last November.

As far as testing, each agency has their own written test... I haven't seen the CHP's, but if it's anything like ours, it's mostly common sense and attention to the question. It may have a lot of multiple choice questions, but perhaps a few essays thrown in.

For the physical agility test... run and then some more. There's an obstacal course, usally composed of an obstical course. There wild be a mile and a half run, do everything you can to get your time down into the sub 10 minute range.
