Hello Fellow Magnum Fans
Just got my RT, January 1st. I love it! It's already been in for Eibach lowering springs. This Monday it's off to the body shop for two tone paint and my new viper hood. Quick question for anybody that can help, i'm hoping to remove all emblems as well as the side moldings. Can someone tell me, are the side moldings attached with just adhesive tape or are there any alignment pins? I'm waiting for the Boss Style 338 wheels that should be available in the next week or two, size 20 X 8 1/2. I like the old school 5 spoke look and trying to keep the muscle car theme. I'd appreciate any help on the body molding question above.

kansas represent!!!! lol awesome to see another mag around, where you located?? im outside wichita, we got Karlito up in topeka,,,chris/chay up in KC/MO,,,congrats on the mag!
since you have an '05,,be very careful taking the sidemouldings off. Most of the 05 mouldings were attached before the paint had cured completely, and as a result the finish is pitted and bubbled underneath. It is extremely hard and time consuming to remedy the problem. When I redid my 05,, I had really bad bubbling, but I was doing a great deal of body work and a complete repaint anyways, so it wasn't that bad of a deal.
Just slowly work a plastic scraper (like a body filler spreader) under the front edge, apply a small amount of heat from a heat gun (hairdryer) and work the scraper back and forth to seperate the double-stick tape. As soon as you have several inches off, you can pretty much just pull the rest of the strip off with no heat or scraper

Greetings from Colorado !!!
Might not need to worry about the "bubbles" if your getting a paint job anyway.
