2010 LX & Beyond T-Shirts: Excel Sportswear is finishing up the graphics for the back of the t-shirt which should be ready at the end of this week. Then they will be printing them and we will ship out to everyone that has pre-ordered one.

Anybody that needs Small/Medium, Kid's Sizes or 3XL, 4XL, 5XL (or talls/larger) these will ONLY be available on a pre-order basis. Also, I know there were some folks wanting grey instead of white t-shirts. We are only going to do those on a pre-order basis as well and will not have these sizes at the event. All orders submitted to Excel Sportswear on Friday, June 11 by noon (eastern time).

Same as last year, anybody that purchases a t-shirt prior to 2 weeks before the event we will ship it to you in advance.

Just seen Quaked City raceway is up for auction

Unfortunately this news is true.

We've been advised by Quaker City Raceway management that the racetrack will be put up for auction and sold (with no reserve) on October 19, 2010. Quaker City Race Way | Baer Auctioneers-Realty, LLC Which means the future of the facility at the close of the season is uncertain. We would like to thank QCR for their hospitality and support of the LX & Beyond Nationals over the past few years. Its definitely a sad day not only for us but also the Salem, Youngstown and Boardman, Ohio communities.

I am currently reviewing offers for the new home of the 2011 LX & Beyond Nationals. The following locations are on the short list: Mid-Ohio, National Trail Raceway, Thompson Raceway, Norwalk Raceway, O'Reilly, Kil-kare and Edgewater Race Park. We expect to have a decision made by end of October. Feedback is welcome and encouraged.
