Aug 1st. Meet N Eat Columbus OH

We need an RSVP of who is coming so we know how many Hot Dogs and Bratwurst to get ahead of time. Please RSVP ASAP to this thread if you can come.

How many will attend?
Do you want Hot Dogs or Bratwurst?
You will have to bring whatever you want to drink as we won’t be supplying that.
Here are the details of this get together:


When: Sunday Aug. 1st from 11:30 AM till 4PM.
We reserved it for the first part of the day so plan on arriving anytime after 11:30 and we'll try and eat between noon and 12:30. We reserved it until 4p.m. This shelter has electricity and restrooms as well as swings, a sand volley ball court, and disc golf putting practice. We'll be supplying hot dogs, bratwurst, buns, condiments, paper plates and plastic ware and ask that the rest bring a dish to share (if you want) as well as what you'd like to drink. As an FYI, no alcohol is permitted in the park. If you cannot or don’t want to come for the food come anytime you can. If the parking works out we will try and get some group pictures of the cars so bring your camera. Bring your lawn chairs as well. There are picnic tables however.
For those of you not familiar with this park:
BLENDON WOODS
4265 E.Dublin-Granville Road,Westerville, OH 43081 (northeastern Franklin County)
From I-270, take State Route 161 exit (30B) toward New Albany onto E. Dublin-Granville Road. Go 1.6 miles then take the Little Turtle Way exit and turn right. Go to Old State Route 161 and turn right. Entrance is 1/2 mile on left. Once you enter the park you will eventually come upon a fork in the road, take the left and look for Hickory Grove Shelter. Not really SURE yet... but we'll be in Michigan all this next week and next weekend. IF POSSIBLE, we may try to make it down... it'd be GREAT to meet some of the OHIO gang!!! We have the address logged down just in case we can make it!

Not a problem... like meeting new car people. Hey.. I have business cards about our car group in all of our cars and anytime I see an LX car I put a card on them..... I hope you can come to our meet but I understand it maybe difficult to coordinate. You JUST missed the LX and Beyond Nationals here in NE Ohio last weekend....

Thanks to all who came, especially the ones that came from out of town. We had about 30 cars show up and we will be doing this next year same weekend same place.
