A Couple of Mods Yesterday...
I really like the idea of a false firewall to hide the hoses and wires behind the engine, but polished stainless doesn't really follow my theme. So, I went down to the scrap yard a bought a sheet of 18 gauge aluminum and went about making some patterns from poster board. Once I was happy with the fit I broke out the sheet metal sheers and cut it up. I then put door edge trim on the lower edge and screwed it in place after I hit it with black trim paint...
While I was in there I also rerouted the coolant hose from the overflow tank and added a stainless hold down clamp...
Right side...
Left side...
So, what do you think???

That's just amazing --- I love the fact that it's DIY too.
