New World Record SRT8 1/4 mile time (Plus other E-Town Pics) June 10th LOTS OF PICS
Before I get to the world record time, I just want to say that it was a great turnout today. The weather held out, but it was nothing but heat soak for most of us.
Sorry to every who couldnt make it. Here is a small run down of what I could remember: I was running like crap today. Every run was slower and slower. I started from a 13.6 and went to a 14.6, Just rediculous. Will NYC_SRT8's Girlfriend in her Charger SRT8 did an amazing Reaction Time of .000 WOW. Dan FlyByU gave Will his shoes back, but then stole his laces. BibBob couldnt make it, his Folgers coffee can never arrived. Mario QBNKID brokes his 1/4 miles record with 14.6 if I recall correctly. NOW, time for the World record which goes to Will NYC_SRT8 with a 22.3 1/4 mile time. YES I said that right a 22.3 with his 300C SRT8 and you can see the pics below for the proof. (It was a group :grouphug: effort)  Hosted on Fotki  Hosted on Fotki Dan claims that his car being dirty was the reason that his car went slow. I dno, he kept saying aerodynamics.  Hosted on Fotki I took my back seat out, but made absolutely no difference. Thanks for the compliments.
Hopefully next time some of you could make it. I met JayAlbert (He has the Orange and Silver Magnum) there and he had told me he read my thread the night b4 and then shot over the next day. What a great guy he is and looking forward to seeing him again in the near future. |
